2 policemen killed as terrorists attack check post in NW Pak

Islamabad, Feb 8 (UNI) Two policemen were killed and another injured in a terrorist attack on a check post in Pakistan's northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Saturday, police sources confirmed.
The incident happened at about 3:30 a.m. local time (2230 GMT Friday) when the unidentified militants opened fire on the police post in the Bannu district, using small and heavy weapons, the sources told Xinhua.
Police personnel retaliated, leading to an exchange of gunfire that continued for two hours, the sources added.
