3-day Vikramotsav in Delhi from April 12

New Delhi, April 5 (UNI) A three-day Vikramotsav, highlighting the personality and achievements of the great emperor Adi Vikramaditya, will be organised in the national capital from April 12 to 14, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav told reporters here on Saturday.
Yadav saidemperor Vikramaditya of Ujjaini was a principal figure of the change of era.
Vikram Samvat introduced by him is a very valuable heritage of the country, not merely a festival or new year of the Hindu society.
On the occasion, a three-day Vikramotsav, highlighting the good governance, love of justice, charity, valor etc. of Emperor Vikramaditya, is being organised in the capital.
During the Vikramotsav organized by the Vikramaditya Shodh Peeth, Madhya Pradesh government, the life story of Emperor Vikramaditya will be reflected through drama, exhibition and other programs.
He said that about 2100 years ago, the era of Vikramaditya was the time when the world was amazed by the power and glory of valor, justice, literature, religion, art, culture, knowledge, science, industry, trade, etc. This was the time when the fragrance of Indian culture and religion had spread in many parts of the world.
