Abu Dhabi Crown Prince visiting India, to hold discussions with PM Modi

New Delhi, Sep 7 (UNI) Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, will be on a two-day official visit to India from September 9, accompanied by a high-level ministerial and business delegation.
The Abu Dhabi Crown Prince is visiting India at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
This would be the first visit of Sheikh Khaled to India as the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.
He will meet PM Modi on Sep 9 and hold discussions on a wide range of areas of bilateral cooperation. He will also call on President Droupadi Murmu, a statement said.
He will visit Rajghat to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi.
On September 10, the UAE Royal will visit Mumbai to participate in a Business Forum, in which business leaders from both countries will participate.
India and UAE share historically close and friendly ties. In recent years, the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between India and UAE has deepened in a wide range of areas including political, trade, investment, connectivity, energy, technology, education, and culture. The Crown Prince’s visit will further reinforce strong India-UAE bilateral relations and open avenues for partnership in new and emerging areas, the statement added.
A UAE statement said: Sheikh Khaled will engage in discussions with senior Indian officials to explore opportunities to further strengthen cooperation across key economic sectors, building on the significant milestones already achieved for the mutual benefit of both countries and their people.
Sheikh Khaled will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, including ministers, senior officials, business leaders, and prominent economic partners from the UAE.
The Abu Dhabi Crown Prince will also attend several activities that reflect the economic and cultural bonds shared by the UAE and India.
