Along with Hariram’s residence, simultaneous raids are also being carried out at other places in the state, according to ACB sources here.
The raids are reportedly based on the National Dam Safety Authority (NDSA) report concerning the multi-crore Kaleshwaram project.
Hariram is known to have played a key role in the construction of the project.
The ACB teams are thoroughly examining documents and computers as part of the investigation.
The ACB authorities are yet to release details over the findings from the ongoing searches as its operations are still continuing.
On Friday, Telangana Irrigation Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy said that the NDSA report clearly states the “ Kaleshwaram project design was faulty, construction was faulty and operation and maintenance were faulty”.
He alleged that the previous BRS government borrowed over Rs one lakh crore at high interest rates for a project that failed under its own watch.
