Ahead of Ishaq Dar's visit, Pakistan High Commissioner meets Bangladesh Information Advisor

Dhaka/Islamabad, Apr 9 (UNI) Ahead of the arrival of Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar in Dhaka, the Pakistan High Commissioner to Bangladesh Syed Ahmed Maruf met with the country’s Information and Broadcasting Advisor Md Mahfuj Alam at the latter's office at the Secretariat.
During the meeting, the Pakistan envoy expressed his keenness in signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Bangladesh Television (BTV) and Pakistan Television (PTV) and Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) and Associated Press of Pakistan (APP), according to Business Standard BD.
During the meeting, the Bangladesh Information Adviser raised the issue of Islamabad's cooperation in broadcasting Bangladeshi channels in Pakistan. Press Counselor of the Pakistan High Commission Fasiha Ullah and Private Secretary to the Information Adviser Syed Enamul Kabir, among others, were present during the meeting.
