Lucknow, Apr 16 (UNI) Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Keshav Prasad Maurya on Wednesday hit back at Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav over his remarks on Enforcement Directorate (ED) and said that he should understand that the agency is not a grocery shop and 140 crore trust it.
Taking to X, the Deputy CM wrote, "When Rahul Gandhi is in trouble, his number one courtier, Akhilesh Yadav, is the first to lose his temper. He should understand that ED is not a grocery shop. 140 crore people trust it, except those whose hands have been involved in corruption."
He said, "The entire country knows that Congress is the mother of corruption. Opposing the action of ED does not mean running away from the truth but protecting corruption. The meaning is clear: the thief raising an alarm. And the biggest example of this noise is the Congress Party."
