Tirumala (AP), Mar 21 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, accompanied by his son Nara Lokesh and family members, offered prayers at the Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirumala on Friday.
The Chief Minister, dressed in traditional attire, entered the temple through the Vaikuntam Queue Complex for darshan of Lord Venkateswara. Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chairman B R Naidu welcomed the CM at the temple entrance.
After darshan, temple priests blessed the Chief Minister and his family with Vedaasirvachanam, and temple authorities presented theertha prasadams to them.
The visit coincided with the birthday celebrations of the CM’s grandson, Devansh. As part of the occasion, Chandrababu and his family will participate in the distribution of Anna Prasadam at the Vengamamba Annadana Distribution Center. In a generous gesture, the CM hdd donated the cost of one day's prasadam distribution to the TTD Annadana Trust on his grandson's birthday.
In view of the CM’s visit, tight security arrangements were made, with all temple vicinity gates closed and entry restricted for devotees.
