Arunachal: Drug peddler apprehended in Ziro, heroin recovered

Itanagar, May 3 (UNI) In a major breakthrough in the fight against drug trafficking under Operation Dawn 2.0, the Ziro Police apprehended an alleged drug peddler and seized a substantial quantity of suspected heroin from his possession on Friday, a senior officer said on Saturday.
Acting on a tip-off received late on the night of Thursday, the police formed a team comprising SDPO Ojing Lego, Sub-Inspectors J Yomcha, J Doye, K Yigam, ASI C Tallo, and constable A Babla, under the close supervision of SP Keni Bagra.
