Arunachal: Police bust two major drug rackets, arrest 4 peddlers

Itanagar, Apr 10 (UNI) In continuation of the fight against drug trafficking under Operation Dawn 2.0, the Naharlagun Police has successfully dismantled two major interstate drug networks operating within the Capital Region.
Police arrested four drug peddlers, including three women, and seized 53.13 grams of suspected heroin along with Rs 1.25 lakh in cash.
Naharlagun SP Mihin Gambo on Thursday said that, acting on credible intelligence, a police team on Wednesday conducted a raid at Nyigam Colony, Naharlagun, which resulted in the arrest of a husband-wife duo identified as Rana Thapa (29) and Yami Rabo (25), residents of Gogamukh in Assam's Dhemaji district.
