At least 12 dead after boat capsizes in southern Cote d'Ivoire

Abidjan, Apr 22 (UNI) A canoe carrying a group of people capsized on Monday in a lagoon in Dabou department, about 50 km from Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire's economic capital, resulting in at least 12 deaths, a security source told Xinhua on Tuesday.
The passengers, all from the village of Tiaha, had traveled by boat to the nearby Kaka village to attend a Christian celebration. The boat overturned on its return journey, when its engine suddenly failed, according to the source.
