Auro Infra receives appreciation award from Coal Ministry

Hyderabad, Mar 28 (UNI) Auro Infra Pvt Ltd on Friday announced that it has received the prestigious Award of Appreciation in the “ Early Operationalization “ category from the Ministry of Coal.
Sanjay Vinod Mishra, who heads the mining vertical of Auro Infra Pvt Ltd, received the award from Union Coal and Mines Minister Kishan Reddy during a special function held in New Delhi, the company said in a release.
Auro Infra currently holds four coal blocks across Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Telangana, along with three Rock Phosphate blocks in Madhya Pradesh.
Among these, the Takli Jena Belora – North & South coal mine, located in the Chandrapur district of Maharashtra, is fully operational and produces coal, while the remaining blocks are at various stages of approval.
Auro Infra received the award of appreciation from the Ministry of Coal for successfully commencing operations at Takli Jena Belora – North & South in a record time of just two years.
The mine is currently operating at a peak rated capacity of 1.5 million tonnes per year, marking a significant milestone. Notably, this achievement made it the first commercial coal mine in India to become operational.
