Bandi Sanjay prepares for massive ‘Hindu Ekta Yatra’ in Karimnagar on May 22

Karimnagar, May 4 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar held a preparatory meeting with BJP leaders in Karimnagar ahead of a large-scale ‘Hindu Ekta Yatra’ planned for May 22, coinciding with Hanuman Jayanti.

Addressing the gathering at Mahalakshmi Garden in Rekurthi, Bandi Sanjay said the Yatra aims to demonstrate Hindu unity in response to recent terrorist incidents, particularly the attack in Pahalgam, which he said has triggered nationwide outrage.

He asserted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership will soon reflect decisive action against terrorism, showcasing India's strength globally.

Bandi Sanjay emphasised the importance of national unity and called on every Hindu in the Karimnagar parliamentary constituency to participate in the event, predicting a turnout of over one lakh. He claimed past Hindu Ekta Yatras led to a decline in forced conversions and love jihad in the region.

He alleged local support for terrorist acts in India, referencing previous attacks in Hyderabad, and accused PFI activities in places like Jagtial and Korutla of going unchecked under Congress and BRS rule.

The BJP leader called the upcoming Yatra a rallying point for a statewide Hindu awakening, aimed at mobilising public sentiment ahead of local body elections. Party leaders, including district presidents, former MLAs, and local officials, participated in the meeting to strategize for the massive event, an official statement said.
