Bangladesh: 13-yr-old girl gangraped before murder in Dhaka

Dhaka, Feb 3 (UNI) Police have uncovered a shocking incident of gangrape of a 13-year-old girl before murder in Dhaka's Dakshinkhan area.
The eighth grader was abducted on January 16 and later gang-raped and murdered, but the crime came to light after her body was recovered from the Hatirjheel area yesterday [February 2], said Rawnaq Jahan, deputy commissioner (DC) of the Uttara Division, in a press briefing today.
Two suspects, Robin Hossain, 32, and Rabbi Mridha, 26, were arrested on January 30 in Sreepur of Gazipur, in connection with the crime, said the Uttara DC, according to The Daily Star report.
