Barcelona duo Casado & Martinez out of Spain Nations League squad

Madrid, Mar 17 (UNI) Spain coach Luis de la Fuente has been forced into two changes to his squad
for the forthcoming UEFA Nations League quarterfinal tie against the Netherlands.
FC Barcelona duo Inigo Martinez and Marc Casado have been both dropped out of the squad, with Martinez ending Sunday night's 4-2 win away to Atletico Madrid with a knee injury, while Casado
also has a problem in his knee.
Aleix Garcia has been called up to cover for Casado, while Dean Huijsen will step up from the U-21 squad to replace Martinez.
The injury is a blow to 33-year-old Martinez, who has played 21 times for his country, but had not represented Spain since De la Fuente replaced Luis Enrique following the FIFA 2022 World Cup finals.
