Bengal: Lawyer gives contempt notice to Mamata for publicly criticising SC judgement

Kolkata, Apr 10 (UNI) West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was served a contempt notice on Thursday by advocate Siddharth Dutta, representing the NGO Aatmdeep, for publicly criticising the Supreme Court's recent judgment in the SSC recruitment scam case.
The legal notice comes in the wake of the Supreme Court’s April 3 judgment that upheld the Calcutta High Court’s decision to cancel approximately 26,000 illegal appointments in the state’s teaching and non-teaching staff recruitment — known as the “SSC Job Scam.”
