BJP hijacked CM Nitish Kumar : alleges RJD

Patna, Apr 22 (UNI) Accusing Bihar government for patronising criminals, the RJD on Tuesday alleged that BJP has hijacked Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to finish JDU.
RJD chief spokesperson Shakti Singh Yadav told news persons here that the spurt in crime during the past one week indicate that those in power were glorifying criminals.
He alleged that JDU leaders including Sanjay Jha, Vijay Choudhary and Lalan Singh were busy in appeasing BJP. These leaders were playing the pivotal role in finishing the JDU, Yadav quipped.
The RJD leader alleged that the law and order situation has totally collapsed in Bihar where organised crime has increased alarmingly.
He said that RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav had restored the dignity of the poor, the oppressed, the deprived, the backward and the Dalits but unfortunately the people with crooked minds have become active to bring back the same kind of system.
Congress media Chief Rajesh Singh Rathore said that the crime in Bihar has increased 323 percent as per the national crime record bureau. He alleged 953 criminal incidents were taking place every day in Bihar where crime against women had gone up by 336 percent.
