Phagwara, May 7 (UNI) Senior leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday issued strong statements praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Indian Armed Forces for carrying out precise and effective strikes against terror launchpads in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK).
The strikes, according to BJP leaders, were a direct response to the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam that claimed the lives of 26 Indian civilians.
Former Union Minister Som Parkash, former Rajya Sabha member Avinash Rai Khanna, and other
party leaders jointly hailed the operation, codenamed ‘Operation Sindoor’, as a demonstration of India’s resolve to combat terrorism with decisive force.
The leaders emphasised that the military operation reflected a broader shift in India’s strategic posture, highlighting that the response was not merely retaliatory but a clear message to those who support or shelter terrorists.
“Under the iron-clad leadership of Prime Minister Modi and the unmatched valour of our armed forces, justice has been delivered with precision,” the statement read.
The BJP leaders described the operation as a redefinition of India's rules of engagement with hostile actors and praised the Indian Army’s professionalism and strategic execution.
“Our forces moved like shadows, precise, lethal, and unstoppable,” they said, adding that the operation showcased a new era of military capability and national resolve.
Highlighting Prime Minister Modi’s role, the leaders said his leadership style is marked not by rhetoric
but by concrete action. “No attack on India goes unanswered. No Indian life is expendable. This operation reaffirms that principle,” they stated.
Concluding their remarks, the BJP leaders saluted the Indian Armed Forces for their courage and professionalism and reiterated their support for Prime Minister Modi’s vision of a strong, secure, and sovereign India. They expressed that the nation, from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and Arunachal to Gujarat, stands united in pride and patriotism, echoing the sentiment: “Bharat Mata ki Jai.” UNI GS XC SSP
