Cong MLC Amer Ali Khan slams Waqf Amendment Bill

Hyderabad, Apr 4 (UNI) Congress MLC Amer Ali Khan has strongly condemned the passage of the Waqf (Amendment) Bill in both Houses of Parliament, describing it as a “deliberate and dangerous attempt to interfere with the religious and constitutional rights of Muslims.”

In a statement issued on Friday, Khan described the Bill as undemocratic, unconstitutional, and aimed at weakening Waqf institutions by undermining the autonomy of Muslim-managed religious properties.
