Cong releases 31 candidates for Haryana assembly polls

New Delhi, Sep 6 (UNI) Former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and wrestler Vinesh Phogat are among the 31 candidates whose names were released by the Congress on Friday for the upcoming assembly election in Haryana.
The party has fielded Vinesh Phogat from Julana assembly constituency and Bhupinder Singh Hooda from Garhi Sampla-Kiloi.
According to a statement released by the Congress general secretary KC Venugopal, the names of the candidates were selected at the Central Election Committee of Congress.
The party has named Pradeep Chaudhary from Kalka constituency, Shalley Chaudhary from Naraingarh, Renu Bala from Sadhaura, Bishan Lal Saini from Radaur, Mewa Singh from Ladwa, Ram Karan from Shahbad, Dhram Pal Gondar from Nilokheri, S Shamsher Singh Gogi from Assandh, Dharam Singh Chhoker from Samalkha, Jaiveer Singh from Kharkhauda, Surender Panwar from Sonipat, Jagbir Singh Malik from Gohana, Induraj Singh Narwal from Baroda, Subhash Gangoli from Safidon, Shishpal Singh from Kalanwali, Amit Sihag from Dabwali, Bharat Bhushan Batra from Rohtak, Shakuntala Khatak from Kalanaur, Rajinder Singh Joon from Bahadurgarh, Kuldeep Vats from Badli, Geeta Bhukkal from Jhajjar, Raghuvir Singh Kadian from Beri, Rao Dan Singh from Mahendragarh, Chiranjeev Rao from Rewari, Aftab Ahmed from Nuh, Mamman Khan from Ferozepur Jhirka, Mohd Ilyas from Punahana, Udai Bhan from Hodal and Neeraj Sharma from Faridabad NIT.

New York/New Delhi, June 30 (UNI) Terming terrorism as one of the gravest threats to humanity, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar today said the world must come together on some basic concepts: no impunity to terrorists, no treating them as proxies and no yielding to nuclear blackmail. Addressing the gathering at the exhibition on "The Human Cost of Terrorism”, organized by the Permanent Mission of India to the United Nations, he also said that any state sponsorship must be exposed and must be countered.He said the exhibition is a modest yet resolute effort to give voice to those who can no longer speak.
