Cong suspends Buxar district president for flop show in Kharge rally

Patna, Apr 21 (UNI) The Bihar Pradesh Congress committee has suspended Buxar District President of the party Manoj Kumar Pandey for a flop show in the rally of Congress President Mallikarjun Khadge held recently in Buxar.
According to a release issued by BPCC here on Monday, Buxar District President Pandey has been suspended with immediate effect.
It has been stated in the release that severe lack of preparation and lack of mutual coordination was noticed in Kharge's rally which was held at Dalsagar Sports Ground in Buxar on April 20. The District Congress Committee did not discharge its responsibility properly, the release said.
Meanwhile the party sources said that the leaders failed to gather the crowd . Instead the leaders were busy in getting snaps with the senior national leaders of the party in the rally.

Shillong, April 21 (UNI) The Meghalaya government has appointed outgoing chief engineer of State Public Works Department (Roads), Dawhoi Langstang, as the new chairman of Meghalaya Public Service Commission (MPSC).
Bedarius Shylla, who was serving as in-charge chairman of the MPSC, has been relieved of his duties with immediate effect.
