Ayodhya (UP), Mar 17 (UNI) The construction of the divine and grand Ram temple being constructed on Shri Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya, the city of Lord Shri Ram, is likely to be completed by June, an office-bearer of the Trust said here on Monday.
General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust Champat Rai said that the construction of the divine and grand Ram temple being built on Shri Ram Janmabhoomi is 96 percent complete, "Along with this, 70 percent of the work of the rampart has been done. Now this work is likely to be completed by September," he said.
He said that the work of the temple of Shabari, Nishadraj and other sages in the Ram temple complex will be completed by May. "The work of Lord Sheshavatar temple is also going on in the complex, which is expected to be completed by August," he said.
Rai said that the statue of Tulsidas, which is being installed in the Yatri Suvidha Kendra located in the Ram temple complex, will be unveiled on the day of Manas Jayanti on the upcoming Ram Navami. He said that a nine-day Shri Ram Katha has been organised in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi premises on the occasion of the Ram Navami festival that is Ram Janmotsava, in which eight-day rituals will also be performed.
He said that on the ninth day, a grand tableau of Phool Bangla will also be decorated in the sanctum sanctorum of Ram Lalla, where various programs including congratulatory songs will also be conducted on the birth anniversary of Lord Shri Ram.
The General Secretary of the Trust said that during the Ram Navami festival, Shri Ram Katha will be organised from March 29 to April 6 on the Angad Tila located on the premises, in which Atulkrishna Bhardwaj will be the storyteller.
He said, "Valmiki Ramayana, Ramcharitmanas, and Adhyatma Ramayana will be recited in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi premises. Along with this, the Durga Saptashati ritual will also be performed, in which more than one lakh offerings will be made. For this, Vedic Acharyas from the South will reach Ayodhya to complete this entire ritual."
He said that a live telecast of Shri Ram Janmotsav will also be done on the ninth day. "Shri Ram Janmotsav will be broadcast through LED at more than 50 places in Ayodhya. During the Janmotsava, at the auspicious time of exactly noon, the rays of the sun will adorn Ram Lalla's forehead for about four minutes," he said.
