Chennai, Mar 15 (UNI) Five time champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Saturday announced special partnerships with Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) ande Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) for IPL 2025 to enhance fan convenience during the team’s home matches at

MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk.

Through the partnership with CMRL, fans with match tickets can travel in Metro Rail at no additional

cost.

The commute to and fro the stadium will be hassle free as fans no longer need to wait in queues;

Metro Rail services will also be extended by 90 minutes to facilitate fans’ safe return after the matches.

Chennai Super Kings will play the first home match of the season at Chepauk on March 23.

A CSK release said it has announced collaboration with MTC for a second successive year aimed

hours prior to the start of the match.

The match tickets will double up as the travel tickets.

Mr Viswanathan said "The partnership comes as a part of CSKs' commitment to creating a seamless and fan-friendly experience, ensuring that supporters can enjoy the match day excitement from the moment they leave their homes.

"We encourage fans to use public transport and enjoy CSKs' matches in Chepauk. With approximately 8000 fans using the bus services from different parts of the city each game in 2024,
