DGP interacts with Telangana cadre IAS officers

Hyderabad, Apr 3 (UNI) Telangana Director General of Police, Dr Jitender, interacted with the state cadre IAS officers of the 2023 batch at the DGP office on Thursday.
The officers are currently undergoing an orientation programme in Hyderabad.
During the session, Dr Jitender emphasized the importance of seamless coordination between the police and other government departments to enhance public service delivery and citizen welfare.
He highlighted how effective inter-departmental collaboration plays a crucial role in addressing public concerns efficiently and fostering a proactive governance framework.
Encouraging the young officers to work closely with law enforcement agencies, the DGP stressed the need for a unified approach to building a safer and more responsive administrative system for the state.
This interaction was part of ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation between different government departments, ultimately improving governance and service delivery for the benefit of the citizens of Telangana, an official statement said.

Telangana CM asks universities to introduce market driven courses

Hyderabad Apr 4 (UNI) Emphasising that all universities in the state should adopt a student-centric approach , Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Friday evening asked the authorities of the higher institutions to introduce market driven courses aiming to provide a bright future to the students and ensure they get lucrative jobs.
Revanth Reddy, who held a review with the Vice Chancellors of all universities here, asserted that the state-owned universities should develop an ecosystem where the students coming from rural backgrounds with limited financial resources pursue quality education to develop a career and make a bright future.

AP: Bridegroom dies in road accident while returning from shopping
