Differences surface between Muslim League & People’s party over sharing of Sindh’s waters

Islamabad, Apr 5 (UNI) Differences between ruling Muslim League and its ally People’s party widened over sharing of Sindh water, as Bilawal Bhutto warned the government not to take any irresponsible decision on water distribution.

The Punjab government’s decision to construct several canals for irrigation and drinking purposes to various parts of the province. Using Sindh water has resulted in major protests in Sindh. The provincial government claims that they are utilising its own share of water for distribution to remote areas and denied stealing Sindh’s share.
