Eight BSF jawans injured in mortar shelling by Pak on IB

Jammu, May 10 (UNI) At least eight BSF jawans were injured in mortar shelling by Pakistan on the International Border on Saturday morning in Ranbir Singh Pura sector of Jammu.

As per official sources, Pakistan resorted to unprovoked heavy shelling early morning on forward posts along IB in R S Pura Sector.

"Eight BSF personnel have suffered injuries and were immediately shifted to the hospital," they said.

BSF as frontline force is guarding important three districts along international border in Jammu region.
