Lausanne (Switzerland), Apr 7 (UNI) The International Hockey Federation (FIH) and LA28 are strengthening their collaboration to deliver a world-class hockey experience at the 2028 Olympic Games.
FIH President Tayyab Ikram recently met LA28 leaders in Athens to discuss the sport’s roadmap.
A key milestone is set for May 5 – 9 , as FIH will conduct its inspection visit to Los Angeles, evaluating the Hockey venue and operations alongside LA28 and USA Field Hockey, the FIH
sources on Monday said.
Hockey will take place at Carson Fields, a dynamic cluster also hosting Tennis, Rugby 7s, Cycling, and Archery—offering synergy, fan engagement, and an exceptional athlete experience.
President Ikram extended his sincere thanks to the LA28 leadership for their strategic vision, dedication, and continued partnership in elevating hockey on the Olympic stage.
