London, May 18 (UNI) Five people were injured in a stabbing incident after violence erupted at a music event in southeast London early Saturday morning.
The Metropolitan Police were called to Nathan Way in Thamesmead at around 4 a.m., where officers found approximately 300 people gathered at the venue. Upon arrival, five individuals aged between 22 and 32 were discovered with stab wounds and were taken to hospital for treatment.
According to police, three of the victims sustained injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening, while the other two remain under medical assessment.
All five individuals have been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.
Detective Inspector Steven Andrews said a police presence would remain at Nathan Way as investigations continue.
