Gas leak causes Uzbekistan's mosque blast: prosecutor's office

Tashkent, Apr 2 (UNI) The prosecutor's office of Uzbekistan's Andijan region said gas leak is the cause of an explosion at a local mosque earlier this week, local media reported Tuesday.
The blast was caused by a natural gas leak in the basement of the mosque, and a short circuit occurred when the electricity was turned on.
Three people were killed and 10 others injured in the mosque blast in Andijan region in eastern Uzbekistan on Monday, according to the country's Ministry of Emergency Situations.
