Ahmedabad, Mar 29 (UNI) Gujarat Titans' captain Shubman Gill reached a significant milestone during the ninth match of IPL 2025 against Mumbai Indians, becoming the first player to score 1,000 IPL runs at the Narendra Modi Stadium here on Saturday.
Gill reached the landmark in just 20 innings, making him the second-fastest player to achieve 1,000 IPL runs at a single venue. He is surpassed only by Chris Gayle, who achieved the feat in 19 innings at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
Other notable players in this category include David Warner, who took 22 innings to reach 1,000 runs at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, and Shaun Marsh, who achieved the milestone in 26 innings at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium in Mohali.
