GT opt to bowl first against RCB at Chinnaswamy

Bengaluru, Apr 2 (UNI) Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill won the toss and elected to field against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the 14th IPL 2025 match at Chinnaswamy Stadium here on Wednesday.
Gill said the pitch looked good and conditions were unlikely to change significantly. "We've seen the conditions don't change much. We're all about reducing our unforced errors. We'll try to fine-tune the areas that need it," he stated.
Gujarat made one change, with Kagiso Rabada missing out due to personal reasons and Arshad Khan coming into the XI.
RCB skipper Rajat Patidar said he would have preferred to bowl first as well. "It's a new surface, pretty hard, and won't change much. The way the boys are chipping in gives a lot of confidence as a captain. We love the fans here; the support we've received is incredible," he remarked. Bengaluru are fielding an unchanged XI.
