Heatwave conditions likely in AP & Yanam in next 48 hours: Met

Amaravati, Mar 14 (UNI) Heatwave conditions are likely to prevail in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next 48 hours, Meteorological Centre said on Friday.
In a daily weather report here, it said that maximum temperatures will gradually rise by 2-3 degrees celsius in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next five days.
Dry weather is likely to prevail in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next seven days.
The highest maximum temperature of 40.2 degrees celsius was recorded in Nandyal in Rayalaseema on Thursday, the report added.
