Height of anarchy crossed in Bengal: BJP

Lucknow, Apr 16 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday launched a counterattack on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for her controversial remarks against Uttar Pradesh and said that a ruthless government is running in Bengal where Murshidabad is burning and Mamata is making baseless statements to hide her shortcomings.
UP unit president Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary said that the statement given by Mamata Banerjee on Yogi Adityanath has crossed the limits of ignobleness. "Mamata, who calls the rioters peace ambassadors, is giving government patronage to those who spread anarchy instead of controlling them. This is the reason why the Hindus of West Bengal are scared: because the state government has made them second-class citizens," he alleged.
He said that political purity cannot be expected from those who have ridiculed crores of Sanatanis by calling the biggest symbol of Hindu faith Maha Kumbh, the Kumbh of death. "Bengal, the land of great freedom fighters, litterateurs and worshippers of art, has been thrown into the furnace of anarchy for decades and has been brought to the brink of destruction," he said.
Chaudhary said that whether it is a Panchayat-level election or Lok Sabha election, Bengal is hit by violence. "This is the biggest failure of Mamata government that she is not able to manage her own state and she is making baseless allegations against the successful CM of new India's, new UP," he said.
He said that today every sector is touching new heights under the leadership of CM Yogi. "The strong law and order here is being discussed not only in the country but all over the world. There has been no riot anywhere in UP in the last eight years, because the rioters have either been removed or have fled the state," he said.
The state president alleged that Mamata and her colleagues do not like the zero-tolerance attitude of the Yogi government against rioters and miscreants and to vent their anger, they are making false statements against CM Yogi.
"Mamata Banerjee has become the leader of the rioters. Yogi has rightly said that rioters will not listen to words but will listen to sticks," he added.
