Himachal: Cabinet gives nod to hike minimum fare

Shimla, Apr 5 (UNI) The Council of Ministers of Himachal Pradesh on Saturday gave its approval to hike minimum fare of Transport buses by Rs five by fixing minimum fare of Rs 10.
During cabinet briefing, Industry minister Harshvardhan Chauhan stated that the state government has
accepted proposal of private operators to hike minimum fare from Rs five to Rs 15 by hiking it to Rs 10
now.
A cabinet agenda of fixing the minimum fare by Rs 15 was partly approved by fixing minimum fare of Rs 10, however, the fare per kilometre would remain unchanged.
