House fire kills 2 in Japan's Kochi

Tokyo, Mar 17 (UNI) A house fire in Japan's Kochi City on Monday left two dead and another one in critical condition, local police reported.
The fire broke out around 8:30 a.m. local time, destroying approximately 25 square meters of the two-story steel-frame residence.
All three family members of the house were transported to the hospital, where one man and his son were pronounced dead. A woman was unconscious and in critical condition.
The fire occurred in a residential area about 600 meters south of JR Dosan Lines' Nushida Station. Police and firefighters are investigating the cause of the fire.
