IPL: KKR-LSG game moved to April 8

Mumbai, Mar 28 (UNI) The Indian Premier League (IPL) match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), originally scheduled for April 6 at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata, has been moved to April 8, the Indian cricket board announced on Friday.
The decision follows a request from Kolkata Police to the host association Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) regarding the deployment of personnel across the city owing to festivities, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Secretary Devaji Saikia said in a statement here..
The authorities recommended that the game be moved to Tuesday, April 8, at 3:30 PM, and the request has been accommodated accordingly, Saikia said.
