J&K Kabaddi official awarded Doctorate in Sports by Cambridge University

Jammu, June 18 (UNI) The General Secretary of the Jammu and Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association, Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, has been awarded the honorary degree of Doctorate Philosophy (PhD) by the Cambridge Digital University in a ceremony at Goa.
Gupta is also a Technical Director of the Asian Kabaddi Federation and Secretary Vansh Sabre Sports Foundation.
Gupta has been conferred the Doctorate for excellence in the field of Sports. Earlier, Kuldeep’s profile was recommended by the Academics Council Committee of Cambridge Digital University on the basis of his achievements and contributions in the field of sports.
The Cambridge Digital University Senate and Committee extended good wishes for his future endeavours and excellence in sports management.
“The award function took place at Goa. It was an honour for the entire J&K, and I, on behalf of the entire sports fraternity back home, especially those associated with the game of Kabaddi, express my gratitude towards Cambridge Digital University for bestowing honour on me. Such honours come once in a life, so I pray to the Almighty God to give strength and courage to further work for the development of sports,” said Kuldeep Gupta.
