Jan Suraaj demands Bharat Ratna for first Bihar CM Sri Krishna Singh

Patna, Mar 25 (UNI) Founder of Jan Suraaj Prashant Kishor on Tuesday demanded the Centre honour the first Chief Minister of Bihar Shri Krishna Singh with the Bharat Ratna award.
Kishor said that contribution of Shri Krishna Singh was immense in development of Bihar after independence. Bihar was among top ten states of the country on almost all development parameters during first decade after independence when Shri Krishna Singh was Chief Minister of the state, he added.
The Jan Suraaj leader said the stature of Shri Krishna Singh was so great that even felicitating him with the Bharat Ratna award was not enough for him but Narendra Modi government should confer Singh with the highest civilian award of the country.
If voted to power, his party would make all efforts to bring the past glory of Bihar, which was in existence during the tenure of first Chief Minister Shri Krishna Singh, he promised. UNI KKS SSP
