Javelin icon Neeraj Chopra meets Siddaramaiah

Bengaluru, July 3 (UNI) Olympic javelin icon Neeraj Chopra visited Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at the CM’s official "Cauvery" residence today.
During the meeting, Siddaramaiah presented a traditional shawl and felicitated Chopra, congratulating him on reclaiming the world No. 1 ranking in men's javelin and for his stellar performances over recent months. The CM lauded Chopra's efforts in elevating India's stature in athletics.
Chopra, fresh from an impressive season that included breaking the 90m barrier, expressed gratitude and briefed the CM on the upcoming Neeraj Chopra Classic, scheduled for July 5 at Sree Kanteerava Stadium.
The meet, India's first-ever international javelin competition, will feature world class athletes and showcases India's growing prowess in athletics.
