Jammu, Apr 16 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Police on Wednesday claimed to have recovered a haul of arms and ammunition from the site of the Kathua encounter that started on March 24.
“In the last one month, four gunfights took place between security forces and the terrorists in Kathua district, and the recovery of arms, ammunition and other war-like stores besides narcotics from the Rajbagh encounter has made clear that the terrorists had major planning,” Shobhit Saxena told reporters at a press conference in Kathua on Wednesday.
Notably, two terrorists were killed in the encounter while four Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel also attained martyrdom.
