Kiev loses up to 465 soldiers in battles with Russia's Tsentr group

Moscow, Mar 15 (UNI) Ukraine has lost up to 465 soldiers and a Bradley infantry fighting vehicle in battles with Russia's Tsentr (Center) group of forces over the 24 hours, Russian Defense Ministry said on Saturday.

"The enemy lost up to 465 servicepeople, four armored fighting vehicles, including a US-made Bradley infantry fighting vehicle, eight motor vehicles and three artillery pieces," the ministry said in a statement.

Meanwhile, Russia's southern grouping of forces has eliminated over 260 Ukrainian soldiers and a US-made M113 armored personnel carrier, and destroyed two electronic warfare stations and an ammunition depot, the ministry added.

Kiev has lost over 255 soldiers, a US-made Bradley infantry fighting vehicle and an Austrian-made Pinzgauer Vector armored vehicle in clashes with Russia's Zapad group of troops, while Russia's Vostok group of forces has eliminated over 160 Ukrainian servicepeople, the statement read.

The Russian air forces shot down a Ukrainian MiG-29 aircraft in an aerial combat, the ministry also said.
