KSWIFT speeds up investment process, gets big response from investors

Thiruvananthapuram, June 18 (UNI) As a one-stop destination for securing all approvals to start, operate and expand businesses, the KSWIFT online portal https://kswift.kerala.gov.in/index/set up by Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC) has received an overwhelming response from investors, besides ramping up the state as a top performer in Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) in the country.
KSWIFT serves all types of businesses, from Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to large-scale industries, as a comprehensive portal for obtaining in real time all clearances and certificates from multiple departments for starting or expanding their operations.
Apart from MSMEs and large-scale industries, the single-window facility also comes in handy for professionals, traders, startups and new ventures.
“KSWIFT has received a highly encouraging response from investors from within and outside the state as a catalyst in transforming Kerala’s industrial landscape into a sustainable, inclusive and transparent ecosystem,” Minister for Industries, Law and Coir, P Rajeeve, said.
The government’s upfront initiatives aimed at simplifying, rationalising and streamlining the approval processes have been widely appreciated in forums like Invest Kerala Global Summit (IKGS-2025), which saw the state making a big leap by netting investment proposals together running into over Rs 1.80 lakh crore from 446 EOIs, the minister said.
The online facility can be logged in for submitting application forms for registration and licences and getting approvals and clearances from 22 departments and boards, including Labour, Pollution Control Board and local bodies.
It facilitates real-time tracking of the status of applications and approvals, choosing schedules of inspections, downloading certificates and approvals, and also renewing licences of business establishments.
