Mexico City, Feb 8 (UNI) Colombia international striker Diber Cambindo scored twice as Necaxa
edged past to a 3-2 home win over Santos Laguna in Mexico's Liga MX.
Cambindo, who has two Colombia caps, opened the scoring at Estadio Victoria and Jose Paradela converted a penalty to make it 2-0 inside 15 minutes on Friday.
The visitors drew level when Aldo Lopez struck twice in four minutes but Cambindo wrested back the lead for the hosts with a 57th-minute strike.
The result leaves Necaxa fifth in the 18-team Liga MX Clausura standings with nine points from six games while Santos Laguna remains last, having yet to pick up a point.
Earlier, Lucas Rodriguez scored on the stroke of halftime to fire Queretaro to a 1-0 home victory over San Luis. Queretaro is now 10th with seven points, four points ahead of 17th-placed San Luis.
