Raigad, Mar 15 (UNI) Fifteen passengers were injured after a Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) bus overturned and fell 50 feet down in a deep vally following break failure in Varandh Ghat section on Bhor-Mahad road in the district on Saturday.
According to police, an ST bus which was on way to Mahad from Sunebhau, overturned on a sharp turn due to break failure and then collapsed in 50 feet deep vally.
In this incident 15 passengers were injured, who were admitted at Trauma care Hospital in Mahad.
After the accident, local villagers and police rushed to the spot and removed the passengers from the damaged bus.
State Employment Guarantee minister Bharat Gogavale visited the hospital and enquired about the wellbeing of injured passengers.
Police are conducting further investigation into the accident, sources added.
