Maha: Three devotees dies in road accident

Kolhapur, Satara, May 11 (UNI) Three devotees, including two women, were killed in an accident which occurred at Salpe village in Phaltan tehsil of Satara district early this morning.
According to Lonand police, while a private passenger bus, which was on its way to Ujjain for taking 'Darshan', was in front of Biroba temple at Salpe village, a speedy truck collided head-on with the bus.
In this incident two persons, including a woman, were killed on the spot, while another woman was seriously injured and admitted to a private hospital, where she died during medical treatment.
Police identified the deceased as Salman Imtiyaz Sayyad (24) of Shirdhon in the Shirol tehsil of the Kolhapur district and Rajani Sanjay Durgule (48) of Peth-Vadgaon in the Kolhapur district, while the third deceased woman is yet to be identified.
Police are investigating further.
