MP: Body of unidentified man found hanging from tree in Morena

Morena, May 12 (UNI) The body of an unidentified man hanging from a tree was recovered on Monday in Morena district of Madhya Pradesh, police said.

Police sources said that villagers informed the police about the body hanging from a tree near Prabhu Singh’s Pura under Civil Line police station area after noticing a strong foul smell emanating from it.

Upon receiving the information, a police team reached the spot and brought down the body from the tree, and sent it for post-mortem examination.
The police believe the body has been hanging for around three to four days and estimate the deceased to be approximately 30 years old.

The location where the body was found is a secluded area with minimal human activity. The police stated that the cause of death can only be determined after the post-mortem report is received.
The police are currently investigating to identify the deceased and determine the circumstances surrounding his death.
