Kathmandu, Apr 26 (UNI) Nepali people held a large demonstration outside the Pakistan Embassy in Kathmandu against the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, in which a Nepali tourist was among the 26 people killed.
The country’s Rashtriya Prajatantra Party condemned the terror attack and staged a protest against Pakistan’s state-sponsored-terrorism.
The protesters held the Nepali national flag and a photo of the deceased Sudeep Neupane (27), demanding justice for him.
The protesters were heard chanting cries such as "Down with Islamic Terrorism", "Pakistan Terrorist Army", and "Stop Killing Hindus".
A video on X (formerly Twitter) showed the protest, which was marked by high emotion. The protesters also sent a note to the Pakistani Embassy and asked it to stop supporting terrorism.
A separate protest was also carried out by Nagarik Yuva Shakti Nepal who condemned the terror attack, and raised calls for bringing the perpetrators to justice, and asked for a stop to the targeted killing of Hindus.
