HIL Ltd rebrands as BirlaNu Limited

Hyderabad, Apr 3 (UNI) HIL Limited, part of the USD 3 billion CK Birla Group, has rebranded as BirlaNu Limited, marking a significant milestone in its growth journey.
The new identity reflects the company’s commitment to innovation, excellence, and sustainability in the building materials industry. With 32 manufacturing facilities across India and Europe and a customer base spanning over 80 countries, BirlaNu aims to strengthen its presence by delivering world-class construction solutions, a company statement said on Thursday.
Avanti Birla, President of BirlaNu, stated that the rebranding signifies the company’s core values of quality, innovation, and durability. She emphasised that BirlaNu is dedicated to creating superior building materials that enhance modern construction practices while focusing on sustainability.
Akshat Seth, Managing Director & CEO, highlighted the company’s key initiatives driving its expansion. BirlaNu has introduced industry-first Organic Based Stabilizers (OBS) in UPVC pipe manufacturing, eliminating heavy metals. It is also setting up a greenfield facility in Patna to expand into OPVC pipes.
Additionally, the company has doubled its AAC block production capacity in Chennai to 4 lakh cubic meters annually, making it one of the largest facilities in the country. Further strengthening its presence in the home and interiors space, BirlaNu plans to bring its premium global flooring brand, Parador, to the Indian market.
Vijay Lahoti, Chief Business Officer, reaffirmed the company’s deep-rooted presence in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, where it leads in AAC Blocks, Panels, and Boards. He noted that BirlaNu's state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Sanathnagar, Thimmapur, and Kondapalli are instrumental in meeting the region’s growing demand for high-quality building solutions.
With an impressive 70% year-on-year volume growth in the pipes segment and strategic acquisitions like Crestia Polytech, makers of the Topline brand of pipes in Patna, BirlaNu is well-positioned for rapid expansion. The company remains committed to integrity, collaboration, and innovation, setting new benchmarks in the construction industry and shaping the future of sustainable building solutions.
