IPL suspended indefinitely amid India-Pak tension

New Delhi, May 9 (UNI) The remainder of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 has been suspended indefinitely in the wake of escalating tensions along the India-Pakistan border, reliable sources confirmed on Friday.
While an official statement from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is awaited, all ten franchises and key stakeholders have been informed of the decision.
Player and personnel safety have been cited as the overriding concern behind the suspension, it is learnt.
