District Administration suspends Internet service in Jamui after violence

Jamui, Feb 17 (UNI) Internet service was suspended after violence between two groups erupted and eight people were taken into custody under the Jhajha police area in the Jamui district of Bihar.
Police said here on Monday that some people were returning from a function on Sunday evening when they were attacked by a group under the Jhajha police station area. They pelted stones at them creating trouble in the area, and injuring six people, police added.
" Eight people were taken into custody ", police said adding that President of the Chamber of Commerce of Jamui also sustained injuries in the incident. Kumar was rushed to Patna for better treatment, police stated.
