Nitish announces Rs 2 lakh ex-gratia for workers killed in Telangana factory explosion

Patna, June 30 (UNI) Expressing deep sorrow over the tragic death of workers following an explosion at the Seegchi Chemical Factory located in the Pasha Melaram industrial area of Sangareddy district, Telangana, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today announced an exgratia of Rs 2 lakh to the next of kin of the deceased workers from Bihar.
Kumar instructed the officials to provide Rs 50,000 to each of those injured in the blast.
Wishing a speedy recovery to those injured in the mishap, the Chief Minister directed the Resident Commissioner in New Delhi to coordinate with the Telangana government to ensure proper arrangements for bringing the mortal remains of the deceased back to Bihar. He also instructed for arranging adequate treatment for the injured.
Terming the incident as "extremely unfortunate", the Chief Minister conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the families of the victims. UNI RS SSP
